ベンジルアデニンの繰り返し散布がM.9台木を用いたリンゴわい性台木苗木のフェザー発生に及ぼす影響(繁殖・育苗)  [in Japanese] Effects of Repeated Benzyladenine Spraying on Branch Development of Apple Nursery Trees on M.9 Rootstocks(Propagation & Transplant Production)  [in Japanese]

Abstract

ベンジルアデニン(BA)の1〜5回の繰り返し散布が, M.9系統台木を用いたリンゴ'秋映'の1年生苗木と'ふじ'の1年生および2年生苗木のフェザー発生に及ぼす影響を検討した.いずれの種類の苗木でも, BAを苗木新梢全体に対して1回散布する場合に比べて, 新梢の伸長に応じて新梢先端部に対する繰り返し散布の回数を増やすことにより, フェザーの平均発生本数を増加させる傾向があることが認められた.特に, 2年生'ふじ'苗木に対するBA(300ppm)の5回繰り返し散布では, 1回処理の約2倍量のフェザーを発生させた.これらのことから, 苗木新梢の先端から10cmまたは20cmまでの部位に対して3回または5回繰り返してBAを散布する方法が, 苗木の生育に影響を及ぼすことなく, 利用可能なフェザーを多く発生させる実用的な方法であると考えられた.

Shoot tops (10 to 25cm from apices) of one- and two-year-old 'Fuji' and 'Akibae' apple trees grafted onto M.9 Nagano and Pajam 2 rootstocks were sprayed one to five times with 6-benzyladenine (BA, 300ppm) to induce branch development in the nursery. It was observed that repeated spraying with BA increased the average number of lateral shoots per tree in both varieties of trees. Trees sprayed three to five times with BA produced significantly more branches than those receiving a single spray or untreated controls. The most effective treatments, five applications of BA to the new shoot tops of two-year-old 'Fuji' apple trees, produced an average of 14.3 lateral shoots (1cm and longer) per tree, while single application produced 7.2 laterals per tree. Trunk diameter and tree height were not affected by the treatments.
