Abstract

When the parking lot which the drivers visit is full, the parking lot search behavior that looks for the vacant parking lot happens. It is thought that "Wandering about vehicles" generated in this process influence road congestion in the central business district. In this study, the actual condition of parking behavior including parking lot search behavior in the full car was clarified by the investigation in Seaside Momochi area in Fukuoka city. The parking behavior model including parking lot search behavior in the full car was constructed by combination of disaggregate models (MNL model and NL model). As a result, parking lot choice model and parking lot search model weren't adopted the same kind of explanation variables. Thus it was clarified that each model must be constructed by the data of each behavior.
