Abstract

This study discusses the necessity of land use control from which the correspondence is attempted at the whole urban area for the Matsumoto urban area in Nagano Prefecture. We clarified that development has been occurred in the surrounding local authorities with the loose regulated area rather than in Matsumoto City that has been divided. And we also suggest that those surrounding authorities newly designs the city planning area or aims at the land use control by the original approach but the estrangement of the land use control in the urban area cannot be canceled. In the Matsumoto city region, the land use control with correspondence is necessary.
