抄録

Respiratory disorders of four children with Poland's syndrome are discussed in this article. Paradoxical respiration was recognized at the hypoplastic region of the chest wall in all patients. Transient atelectasis of the lung adjacent to the lesion was observed in two patients and bronchial asthma developed in one patient. All three patients recovered as they grew up. One patient remained to be asymptomatic. Although respiratory disorders in Poland's syndrome tend to develo in childhood, they are managed well with conservative therapy.
