Abstract
<p>Single-flux quantum (SFQ) circuits are emerging technology. In the circuit, a single-flux quantum is used as bit information. The circuit shows very high speed operation and extremely low power consumption characteristics. In this paper, the principles of SFQ circuits, recent developments of LSI technology, and possible applications are described.</p>
