Abstract

This paper aims to grasp meaning of expressway interchanges (IC) from a point of "local contribution" in snow fall area. Firstly, it clarified direct effect of the expressway IC by attitude surveys for local government in the snow fall area and non-snow fall area. Furthermore, in order to obtain the knowledge for extended effect in the snow fall area, we grasped the consciousness structure in effect of the IC by the DEMATEL method. Finally, it considered from both sides of the direct effect and extended effect, and the role of the expressway in the snow fall area was arranged.
