We report a case of projecting bony tissue within the maxillary sinus. The patient was a 38-year-old woman presenting with a dull pain in the left maxillary molar region. The bony mass measured about 9×4×4mm and had a round border on orthopantomography and CT.<BR>The lesion was extirpated from the maxillary sinus under general anesthesia. Histopathological and radiological examination showed that the mass was composed of matured bone tissue. The patient was free from symptoms after surgery, and no recurrence has occurred during 3 years of follow-up.
