Fine CH4 Absorption Observation by 3.3 μm Difference-Frequency Generation in Quasi-Phase-Matched LiNbO3 Ridge Waveguide Pumped by Fiber-Bragg-Grating Stabilized Single-Mode Laser Diode Module
A fine CH4 absorption spectrum was observed by high-efficiency 3.3 μm difference-frequency generation in a direct-bonded quasi-phase-matched LiNbO3 ridge waveguide pumped by a newly developed laser diode (LD) module. This 1.064 μm single-mode LD module with a full width at half maximum [FWHM] bandwidth of less than 70 MHz had an internal fiber Bragg grating (FBG) LD module configuration and an optimized antireflection coating on the LD chip facet facing the FBG.
