Abstract

酢酸クロルマジノン (CMA) 20mg含有シリコン樹脂製インプラント剤1本を10頭の雌猫に埋植 (投与量: 5.3~9.1mg/kg) して発情抑制効果を検討したところ, 最小投与量5.3mg/kgで134カ月の発情抑制効果を認めた. CMA埋植12カ月後の卵巣では卵胞はすべて閉鎖像を示し, 機能性の黄体は認められず, 子宮内膜の肥厚像, 子宮腺の増生がみられた. 3例には軽度の子宮内膜嚢胞状過形成が認められた. CMA埋植後に妊馬血清ゴナドトロピン (PMSG) を投与された3例では発情誘発が阻止されたが, PMSGで発情誘発後にCMAを埋植した3例では排卵が抑止されなかった.

The effect of subcutaneous implantation of a silicon implant containing 20mg chlormadinoneacetate (CMA)(Doses implanted: 5.3-9.1mg/kg) on the prevention of estrus was investigated in 10 queens. Estrus was completely prevented during 13.4 months at a minimum dose of 5.3mg/kg. At removal of the implant, the ovaries had no functional corpus luteum and all follicles were atretic, and the uterus showed endometrial hypertrophy and proliferated uterine glands. A slight cystic hyperplasia of the endometrium was observed in 3 queens. In 3 queens implanted with CMA prior to the pregnant mere serum gonadotropin (PMSG) treatment, estrus was prevented, whereas ovulation was not prevented in 3 queens implanted with CMA wasafter estrus induction by PMSG.
