Abstract

馬パラチフスの試験管凝集反応法について, 希釈液の種類および抗原の希釈倍数による抗体価の差異を検討した. 生理食塩液で血清を希釈, 15倍希釈抗原を用いて試験管凝集反応を行ったところ, 感染馬由来血清10例はすべて1: 1, 280以上, 健康馬由来血清1, 056例はすべて1: 640以下を示した.50℃ 2時間反応させた後4℃ で18時間静置して判定する方法は, 37℃ で18時間反応後に判定する方法に比べて, より明瞭な凝集像を得ることができた.

The tube agglutination test for serodiagnosis of equine paratyphoid gave different results depending on diluent of test sera and antigen concentration. Using physiologic saline as serum diluent and a 1: 15 dilution of antigen, out of 1, 066 serum samples, 10 from infected horses showed positive titers of 1: 1, 280 or higher, while others from noninfected horses did titers of 1: 640 or lower. Agglutination pattern was more clearly seen after heating of the reaction mixtures at 50°C for 2 hr and then keeping at 4°C for 18 hr than incubating at 37°C for 18 hr.
