Abstract

A rabbit case of bilateral pseudosymblepharon with chameleon eye and partial adhesion was subjected to three operative procedures, which were compared in degrees of the resulting conjunctival hyperplasia and adhesion. The inversion suture of hyperplastic conjunctiva proved to be superior to the other procedures in suppressing adhesion with delayed time of conjunctival hyperplasia. Combined use of mitomycin C seemed to be recommended.
