Abstract

The best method to make ideal complication-free stoma is discussed,analyzing 41 stomas that required reconstruction due to complications. The reason of remake consists of severe stenosis,recession,prolapse,hernia and mallocation. In case of stomas with severe complication and/or more than two complications,reconstruction was inevitable. To prevent complications,the most important thing is that experienced surgeons make ideal stoma using skillful technique. And it is also important to consider patient's sex,age,physical condition and personal status.
