両側に異常裂孔を認めた子宮広間膜ヘルニアの１例

抄録

An 82-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital because of sudden onset of abdominal pain. Abdominal CT scan showed edematous convergence of the mesentery and small intestine loops deviated the uterus to the left side in pelvic space. We thus diagnosed broad ligament hernia, and performed an emergency operation. At laparotomy, ileum was herniated through an abnormal defect in the right broad ligament. Round ligament was cut and the incarceration was reduced. The necrotic portion of ileum was resected. In addition, a similar abnormal defect was observed in the left broad ligament. Left round ligament was cut and the abnormal defect was opened. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course and was discharged from our hospital on 15^th postoperative day. Hernia of broad ligament of uterus which have abnormal defects bilaterally is very rare, and we report our case with some literature review.
