抄録

Recently doctors are required to inform patients of their treatments and get their approval, so-called informed consent. However in the field of radiotherapy, it was actually very difficult to explain in detail in busy out-patient clinic. Moreover, many radiation oncologists were not knowledgeble of the information on patients'daily activities. Therefore, we published a brochure to explain principles of radiotherapy, radiotherapy machine, working staffs, complications, daily activities and food during radiotherapy. The current status was also surveyed in USA, and the brochures now distributed in USA are introduced in this article.
