Abstract

Large-area and micropatterning processes have raised the potential in the field of organic electronic devices, particularly flexible and printed displays. This article is focused on the recent development of a microcontact printing technique, so-called soft lithography, which was origined by G.M.Whitesides. It is found that molecular orientation control is also very important, even in wet processes for obtaining high-performance organic electronics devices.
