Acording to the principle of <i>Bode</i>, there is the minimum-phase state as the output of minimum-phase function in the controlled object. In this paper the minimum-phase state observer/control system is shown to have abilities for optimality and robustness. The assignment of zeros in the characteristic polynomials <i>w<sub>wD</sub></i>(<i>s</i>) and <i>f</i><sub>0</sub>(<i>s</i>) are chosen for the design of optimality and robust stability, corresponding to the additive characteristic deviation anticipated for the controlled object. Numerical example shows the minimum-phase state observer/control system can be optimal and also restrain the deviation from unstability.
