This paper discusses robust H<sub>∞</sub> disturbance attenuation for an uncertain system with time varying delay. An appropriate Lyapunov functional, which takes into account the range of time-delay and its derivative, is introduced to investigate robust H<sub>∞</sub> disturbance attenuation. Less conservative results are obtained by such a Lyapunov functional with model transformation method and free weighting matrix method. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
