抄録

Storage of plugs in plastic vessels in a room with a controlled temperature of 23°C and 16 hr photoperiod with 2, 600 lux white fluorescent light was examined. Shoot elongation, which was inhibited during storage, recovered when the plugs were transplanted to pots with soil mixture. Shoot re-elongation was stimulated by covering pots in polystyrene foam cases with vinyl film.<BR>No differences in shoot re-elongation were observed between plugs stored for 72 days and 102 days. However, shoot re-elongation was reduced after 120 days of storage.
