Abstract
<p>The Plasma Process Technology Cluster classifies devices for future society into three types from the viewpoint of their fabrication process. They are electronics in the near future, molecular-level devices in the future, and ultimate atomic-level devices. We briefly describe the topics of research being investigated with the aim of realizing fabrication processes for such devices. The description of research topics is divided into three parts : top-down processes, bottom-up processes, and basic technologies useful for both top-down and bottom-up processes.</p>
