抄録

The fiber orientation is one of most important characteristics of papers, which cause market's troubles of all kind of papers, if it is out of correct ranges.<BR>The fiber orientations are desired near zero degree. We converted these fiber orientations to the parameter of S/N ratio, and applied this parameter in actual process control.<BR>We measured fiber orientations of every turnup, and analysised the trend of S/N ratio by the control chart.<BR>It caught the changes of fiber orientations sensitively, and we could take the correct actions to process.<BR>By this applications of S/N ratio, we got the stability of process, and we could keep many paper products from out of specifications.<BR>By the application of S/N ratio to papermaking process, we get the quality advancement of paper products.
