Autoscopy is a rare experience of hallucinations of one's own double. We report a 15-year-old female in the 3rd year of junior high school who experienced autoscopy during glue sniffing, and psychodynamically discussed this case. She had not received enough love from her parents and had been disciplined by corporal punishment. Due to frustration, she began to smoke and became glue-dependent. She was autosuggestible, ambivalent, and eidetic. With such a back-ground, ego-splitting may have occurred, resulting in the hallucination of her "double".
