本研究の目的は, 看護学生の日常生活におけるセルフケア状況を調査し, セルフケア度と学生の背景との関係を調べた.研究デザインは, 仮説検証型研究である.対象は, 看護専門学校および看護大学の学生419名である.調査内容は, 看護学生の日常生活におけるセルフケア度および調査対象の性別・学歴・専門教育, 臨床実習形態, 健康状態, 病気や入院経験の有無などである.セルフケアの実践度の測定には, 本研究に先だって開発した健康成人のセルフケア測定尺度を使用した.結果は, (1)女性は男性に比べ, ストレス対処, 対人関係に関するセルフケア度が高い.(2)実習中は実習がない時に比べ, 食生活, 生活リズムに関するセルフケア度が低くなる.(3)健康状態の良否, 病気や入院経験の有無によるセルフケア度に差はない.(4)看護大学の学年間におけるセルフケア度の差はみられないが, 看護専門学校においては実習期間中である3年生は実習期間中ではない1,2年生に比べ, 食生活, 生活リズムに関するセルフケア度が低い.(5)看護専門学校生は看護大学生に比べ, 生活リズムに関するセルフケア度が低い.(6)専門学校卒以上の学歴を有する群は高卒群に比べ, 食生活, 生活リズムに関するセルフケア度が高い.(7)食生活, 生活リズムに関するセルフケア度は, 生活経験によって差が生じる.以上の結果より看護学生のセルフケア度は, 性別, 学歴, 生活経験, 臨床実習の有無や教育機関の違いにより異なり, 教育する側の学生理解および学生自身の自己コントロールを促すような教育への示唆が得られた.さらに男性はストレス対処ができにくい傾向にあり, 看護教育機関における男子学生へのサポート体制の強化が示唆された.

The purpose of this study was to compare the degree of practice of their self-care in daily life between diploma nursing students and nursing college students.The subjects were 251 diploma nursing students and 168 nursing college students.The scales used were The Universal Self-Care Scale to measure the degree of practice of their self-care.The scores of self-care of stress coplng and personal relation in the female group were higher slgnificantly in comparison with these of male group.The scores of self-care of the their diet and vital rhythm in the term of practical exercise were lower meaningfully in comparison with these of excepting term of practical exercise.The scores of self-care were no slgnificant whether they are in good health condition, experience of their admission and illness.The self-carescore of the vital rhythm in diploma nursing students was lower slgnificantly in comparison with these of nursing college students.These results were suggested that the degree of practice of self-care is highly slgnificant difference by students characterizations.
