We reported a case of Ki-1 lymphoma with polyclonal hypergammopathy. The patient was a 62-year-old woman suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. She had notised swollen lymph nodes on the right cervix and bilateral axilla. The biopsy tissue showed anaplastic diffuse large cell lymphomas. The tumor cells were positive for Ki-1 (CD30) antigen and EMA but other T cell and B cell associated antigens were negative. We diagnosed the case as Ki-1 lymphoma. Since Ki-1 lymphoma was described by Stein et al. initially in 1982,several cases have been reported. Analysis using monoclonal antibodies to T cell and B cell antigens revealed four subtypes of Ki-1 lymphoma. In the 102 cases of the literature, tumors expressing the T cell antigen was most common (55%), the remainder expressed the B cell antigen (15%), mixed T/B phenotype (11%), or neither phenotype (19%). Our case lacked any T or B cell specific antigens.
