Thirty villagers (Akagi village) of semi adult disease, aged 33 ― 64 yr, were studied to examine the effect of exercise prescription on body weight, average body fat (% Fat), blood pressure and maximal aerobic power per body weight. This exercise prescription was designed to change the physiological properties through improving the life styles by walk ―training and lecture in long term (2 ― 18 months). The results obtained were as follows; (1) Body weight and average body fat (% Fat) decreased during first 8 month of training. (2) Maximal aerobic power per body weight continued to increase during 18 month of training. (3) Resting systolic and / or diastolic blood pressure decreased during 8 month of training.
