Abstract

This paper Attempts to investigate a diphthongs in singing Japanes songs. How a singer sings a prolonged [e] sound in children's songs, songs for school children songs and popular songs. The following are results : The singing songs with [ei] diphthong branches out the/ei/sound, /ee/sound and/e : /sound.
