抄録

The primary purpose of this work is to investigate "OBABA", a type of Japanese Folk Song which has become unpopular recently and to inquire into its origins. Furthermore, I analyzed the words of the songs. Through this study, I would like to clarify the different ways of singing in each local district, taking account of the variations in accordance with the changes of time.
