ステレオ古写真の仮想現実感技術による立体表示 The solid display by the virtual reality technology of stereo old photographs

This paper presents solid expression of the stereo old photographs by the three-dimensional vision technology. The solid expression of stereo old photographs uses the parallax principle of human eyes. The image processing and stereoscopy have became possible to display of a personal computer using a polarized light shutter and polarized light glasses, which are special parts for the vision technology. In this laboratory, finished solid old photograph, exhibited solid old photograph, etc. are saved on CD-ROM for various exhibitions. A lot of people greatly evaluated the stereo solid old photographs in different exhibitions. Stereoscopy of stereo old photograph is able to reconstruct people, buildings, etc. clearly of those days, which could never been possible by the usual photographs.
