Piaget regards that children in preoperational stage do not understand class inclusion- the relation between the subordinate class and the superordinate class. This study accelerated young children to understand this relation by giving them 5 training drills. From a sample of 30 5-year-olds an experimental group of 15 Ss and a control group of 13 Ss were selected. A 5 - item test of class inlusion was given in a pretest-posttest design to assess conccpt changes brought about by training. Ss of the experimental group who had failed at the pretest demonstrated success after training. Ss who were successful in the 5-items at the posttest had significantly higher I Q than those whe were not. A 5-item follow-up test was given to Ss of both experimental and control group. In this test Ss of the experimental group got significantly higher points than those of the control group.
