抄録
中等科学教育には，エネルギーに関するさまぎまな疑問や誤用がみられ，それらの起因もさまぎまである。エネルギーという用語がいろいろな物理量に使われて混乱してしまうためであったり，エネルギー保存則の適用に際して系と外界とを区別しないためであったり，エネルギーの次元についての所以を忘れてしまうためであったりする。本稿では，エネルギーに関する物理化学的な諸性質を論じることで，これらの誤解をとくことを試みる。さらに，その議論をもとに，中等科学教育におけるエネルギーの導入法を考察する。A great variety of questions and misuses with relation to both energy and work appears in high school education. Such mistakes are due to confusion between energy and other physical quantities; and science learners often leave behind the distinction between a system and the external world, to which the law of conservation of energy is applied, and forget the origin of the dimension of energy. We try to clear up such misunderstandings by way of discussing the physico-chemical properties of energy and of physical quantities relating to energy. Under the discussion we consider how to introduce the concept of energy at the high school level.
