抄録

Characteristics of land and sea breezes around the Takanawa peninsula in Ehime prefecture have been investigated. Wind roses at Matsuyama and Tanbara show two prevailing directions. These directions are representing the daytime and the nighttime winds caused by the phenomena of land and sea breezes. A wind rose at Imabari near the tip of the peninsula shows three prevailing directions. 0ne of them is representing the nighttime wind and the other two are representing the daytime wind. The direction of daytime wind at Imabari is affected strongly by the general wind.
