裸眼立体視と変動磁場を併用した視力回復法の長期効果(<特集>第15回生命情報科学シンポジウム) Long-term effect of eyesight recovery methods employing a time varying magnetic field and training in free stereo viewing(<Main topic>The Fifteenth Symposium on Life Information Science)

抄録

過去のわれわれの研究により変動磁場や裸眼立体視訓練による視力改善効果が示された。その効果を別な集団で再検討し、両者を併用した際の長期効果を検討した。【方法】対象は栗田式視力回復法講習の成人受講者10名。1週間に一度ずつ10回集まって訓練を行った。奇数週は「3分間後頭部磁気照射」(以下、磁気照射)、偶数週は「裸眼3D視」(以下、3D訓練)を行い、訓練前後で視力を測定し、5週ずつの平均値をデータとして使用した。【結果】以下平均値で示す。左右裸眼視力は、磁気照射では0.40→0.51となり0.11増加(28%増加)、3D訓練では0.42→0.51となり0.09増加した(21%増加)。左右矯正視力は、磁気照射では1.04→1.23となり0.19増加(18%増加)、3D訓練では1.06→1.28となり0.22増加した(21%増加)。裸眼視力と矯正視力のいずれでも、前後差と前後比に関して磁気照射と3D訓練の間には有意差を見なかった。十週間の長期効果は以下の通り。両裸眼視力は0.18→0.66と改善(0.36増加)。倍率の平均値は2.36倍、平均値相互の倍率は2.18倍だった。両矯正視力は0.78→1.71と改善(0.92増加)。倍率の平均値は2.25倍で、平均値の倍率は2.19倍だった。【考察】磁気照射と3D訓練には即時視力改善効果があることと、両者の効果には有意差はないこととが再確認できた。両者を併用して10週間訓練すると、視力が長期的に改善することが示された。

Our previous study showed the immediate changes in on eyesight in response to two separate methods, one employing a time-varying magnetic field, and one employing training in free stereo viewing. In the present research, the same changes were reexamined in another group, and, the long-term effects obtained by a combination of both methods was examined. [Method] The subjects were ten adults attending Kurita's eyesight recovery method course trained once a week for 10 weeks. Each subjects received "magnetic irradiation for three minutes to back of the head" (magnetic irradiation) once a week on odd-numbered weeks (weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) and underwent "training in free stereo viewing" (3D viewing) once a week on even-numbered weeks (weeks 2, 4, 6, 8, 10). Eyesight was measured before and after training, and the average value of the eyesight measurements of five weeks was used as data. [Result] The results are shown as average values. The magnetic irradiation resulted in improvement in right and left naked-eye eyesight (without glasses) from 0.40 to 0.51 (difference of 0.11, increase of 28%) and the 3D viewing resulted in improvement from 0.42 to 0.51 (difference of 0.09, increase of 21%). The magnetic irradiation changed the right and left corrected eyesight (with glasses) 1.04 to 1.23 (difference of 0.19, increase of 18%), and the 3D viewing changed it from 1.06 to 1.28 (difference of 0.22, increase of 21%). No significant differences were seen between the magnetic irradiation and 3D training in the degrees of increase brought about in the naked-eye eyesight and corrected eyesight. The long-term effects of ten weeks were as follows. Right and left naked-eye eyesight changed from 0.18 to 0.66 (difference of 0.36), for an average increase of 2.36 times (increase of 2.18 between the two average values). Right and left corrected eyesight changed from 0.78 to 1.71 (difference of 0.92), for an average increase of 2.25 times (increase of 2.19 times between the two average values). [Assessment] Both the magnetic irradiation and the 3D training had an immediate effect of eyesight improvement, and there was no significant difference between the efficacies of these methods. The results also suggested that a long-term effect on eyesight can be expected in using both methods for ten weeks.
