抄録

A simple retrofitting method for Japanese wooden structures is proposed. The method is fixing a sheet of plywood on columns by nails. The nail pitch is 50mm and the nail length is 50mm. The wall length ratio of a single-sided retrofitted wall is 1.1, and that of a double-sided retrofitted wall is 2.0. For the application of this method, one-story wooden structures are retrofitted adequately, and the wall of this method is small for two-story wooden structure.
