Characters of the U_q(sl(3, C)) Highest Weight Modules

Abstract

We present the derivation of the previously announced character formulae of all irreducible highest weight modules of U_q(sl(3, C)) for arbitrary values of the deformation parameter q. We also give new explicit formulae for singular vectors of Verma modules over U_q(sl(n, C)) for any q.
