Winged-edge表現ソリッドモデルのSTEPインタフェース  [in Japanese] A STEP Data Access Interface for the Winged-edge Structure of CAD Database  [in Japanese]

CADデータベースの上に,STEPデータモデルとして入出力するデータアクセスインタフェースを構築することを提案した.<BR>STEPとCADデータモデルのエンティティ集合間に写像関係が定義可能であることと,この写像関係の形式言語による定義より処理プログラムがプログラム生成可能であることを,製品データモデルの論理的単位が持つ階層構造と,STEPとCADデータモデル間の類似性に関する一般的な条件の下で論じた.境界表現ソリッドモデルの一表現法であるWingedgeデータ構造に関する実装を議論し,現実のCADシステムの複雑なデータモデルに適用可能であることを示した.

This paper describes a common CAD database access interface for the Winged-edge structure of CAD database. Using the interface, application programs can use subsets of CAD database as the data of a STEP Application Protocol (AP), because the conversion process between CAD data model and STEP data model is embedded in the interface program. EXPRESS language is used to specify this interface. The interface specifications are composed of a set of schema defining a STEP AP, a CAD data model and the mapping relationships between CAD and STEP in a unit of Entity set. An implementation method is proposed to generate an interface program from the specification definition. It is also showed that the mechanism discussed in this paper can apply to the complicated data model of real CAD systems.
