抄録

The author has studied on the relation between the volume ( bulk, volume, weight, square measure ) in "I Soku" unit and the faggot stem number in the "Soku" system. The results obtained as follows : 1. The volume in "I Soku" unit by the "Soku" system are shown in Table 2. 2. W hen estimate the faggot stem numbers in each "Soku" system, it will be affected by such factors ; ( a ) bulk in case of the Mitsui Kyoto Soku system. ( b ) bulk, volume and weight in case of the Mitsui Kan Soku system and the Forest Service Soku system. 3. It will be better to adopt the volume unit than the Soku unit on that occasion to decide the yield capacity of the bamboo-forest.

我国では竹材取引上は勿論, 竹林の蓄積, 成長量, 地位等の量的生産力を判断する場合にも「束」単位が慣用されている. 従来竹材利用上の観点より考察したものには志賀, 渡辺, 三井, 近野等の報告がある. 筆者は竹林の森林経理学的研究に当リタケ独特の「束」概念に対して竹林の量的生産力判定の経験的尺度として果して「東」単位は安当か否かについて考察を試みようとするものである.
