Abstract
水稲出穂期の台風被害の一つに籾の変色汚染がある。1956年9月10日の台風12号の襲来は北九州平坦部では晩稲の出穂期に当り,可なりの被害を与えた。被害を調査したところ籾表面の変色汚染程度と米粒の発育について,若千の結果を得たので,その概要を述べ大方の批判を乞う次第である。
