Abstract

Adverse drug interactions may be classified by their mode of actions as follows : (1) Pharmaceutical drug interactions, (2) Pharmacokinetic drug interactions, (3) Pharmcodynamic drug interactions, (4) Microbiological drug interactions, Interferences on clinical investigations data. The pharmacists should scan the prescriptions or medication regimens by the above mentioned items and recommend the physicians to avoid potent drug interactions. The pharmacists also should instruct the patients to prevent drug-drug, or drug-food interactions.
