抄録

Suppositories containing 30 mg of eptazocine hydrobromide (EP) were prepared and administered to patients following hemorrhoid operation (n=9). Plasma EP levels were followed for 9 hours after administration. The bioavailability after administration showed 54.1±20.4%, and C_<max> was 14.2±7.2(ng/ml). The mean residence time was 7.5±2.7(hr), and T_<max> was 2.9±1.3(hr). These parameter values showed enough and longer active potential of this dosage form. No severe adverse reaction was observed.
