抄録

The metabolism of C1 compounds in higher plants is an attractive research target. Rice plant growth test revealed that methylamine treatment inhibited the aerial part but stimulated the growth of root part. Proteins from methylamine treated rice and untreated rice were separated by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2D-PAGE). Eleven variable spots were observed by the overlap between comparisons of the methylamine treated and untreated rice plants. Peptide sequencing analysis of the variable spots revealed following fashion: 1) The protein level of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase are increased in both aerial part and root; 2) one of germin-like protein was decreased in root; 3) one of malate dehydrogenases and voltage-dependent anion channel proteins were increased in the aerial part.
