抄録

The phase-coherent NMR technique has been utilized to investigate the temperature dependence of the staggered magnetization in the antiferromagnetic state of V4O7. The hyperfine field acting on the 51V nuclei associated with the singlet spin paired V4+ sites is extrapolated to be 1.96±0.02 kOe at 0 K. The fractional change in the hyperfine field which corresponds to that of the staggered magnetization is compared with the normalized temperature dependence of the magnetization based on the molecular field theory with S=1⁄2. The Néel temperature is determined to be 33.0±0.5 K.
