抄録
Magneto-electric effect was measured in a temperature range between 4.2 and 30 K on the plate of Fe3O4 parallel to the a-c plane referred to the monoclinic axes. The voltage as high as several volts was observed across the 1.45 mm thick (110) plate referred to the cubic axes when the magnetization is rotated in the (110) plane at 4.2 K. The effect is increased abruptly as the temperature is increased towards 10 K, on the contrary to a large reduction of the effect for the b-c plane in the same temperature range.
