抄録

Off-normal incidence piezoreflectivities of SrF₂ and BaF₂ in the 4p and 5p core exciton regions have been measured. The cubic, tetragonal and trigonal deformation potentials are determined. The results are interpreted by the localized excitation model; signs and magnitudes of the deformation potentials of the core excitons, as well as their energies and intensities. Slater-Condon parameters, and Coulomb and exchange interactions between electrons and holes are reasonably determined.
