Abstract
Intracranial vascular anomalies of the internal carotid system are well studied in the literature. Again, extracranial anomalies of the external carotid system-in the scalp and in the neck-have also been exhaustedly studied. On the other hand, intracranial anomalies of the external carotid artery and its branches received but meagre attention.
