A-5. Clinical Manifestations and Operative Results of Frontal Head Injury

1.Frontal epidural hematoma has tendency to have lucid interval(75%),however,more than 57% of intracerebral hematoma has lucid interval as well.2.50% of hematoma group shows hemiparesis preoperatively,however,the degrees of hemiparesis are not so severely affected.3.In group of hematoma,mortality is high (86%) in subdural hematoma.As operative results,psychic disorder is prominent (61%) compared with hemiparesis(15%).4.Dural lacerations are often recognized in the cases of accossory sinuses injury and should pay attention to the other complications.5.Optic nerve injury is 41% of orbital injury,though the occular nerve injury is only one case.
