Hemorrhagic Diabetic Retinopathy Treatment by Pituitary Stalk Section or by Pituitary Irradiation with Protons at the Bragg Peak  [in Japanese]

Abstract

We have treated hemorrhagic diabetic retinopathy in 105 patients by hypohysel stalk section and in 127 by hypophyseal irradiation with protons at the Bragg Peak. Improvement in or stabilization of vision has occurred in a high percentage of both groups.
