Abstract

The mutual diffusion coefficients of HFC 32 (CH_2F_2), HCFC 124 (CHCIFCF_3), HFC 125 (CHF_2CF_3), HFC 143 a (CF_3CH_3) and HFC 43-10 mee (CF_3CHFCHFCF_2CF_3) into air have been measured in the temperature range 0〜180℃ and at atmospheric pressure by the use of the Taylor dispersion method. The mutual diffusion coefficient decreases as HFC 32 > HFC 143 a > HFC 125 > HCFC 124 > HFC 43-10 mee. The present results can also be generalized by our generalization method for the mutual diffusion coefficients of the halogenated-hydrocarbon refrigerants into air based on the principle of corresponding states.
