ラジカル発光計測によるパルスジェットの点火機構  [in Japanese] Ignition Mechanism of Pulsed Combustion Jet : Radical Emission Measurements  [in Japanese]

Abstract

In order to investigate the ignition mechanism of Pulsed Combustion Jet, radical emissions of OH (306.4 nm), CH (431.5 nm), and C_2 (516.5 nm) in the jets were measured by using band pass filters and a photomultiplier. The measurements were made at several points in a constant volume combustion chamber. First, to obtain basic characteristics of radical emissions, measurements were made in laminar propagating flames which were ignited by an ordinary spark ignition. Ions in the flames were measured concomitantly using an electrostatic probe. Then, radicals in the jet issuing from the orifice of the Pulsed Combustion Jet igniter were measured and their behavior were revealed.
