抄録

To investigate the effects of the repitation of the tuberculin reaction to the temporal pattern of the tuberculin reaction in the new site, the tuberculin reaction was performed 5 times in two weeks' intervals to the different site of the back of 12 healthy persons. Following the temporal patterns of the tuberculin reaction they were classified into pattern A (48 hours pattern, original type), pattern B (24 hours pattern, accerated type) and O pattern (negative pattern). Moreover, by the early type of reaction they were divided into pattern P (early type of pattern) and Q (immediate type of pattern). Pattern A, the original type, was found to be 8 cases in the first test, but it decreased to 3 in the second test and not a case was found in the fifth test; whereas pattern C, the accerated type, could not be found in the Ist-3rd test, but 2 cases were observed in the 5th test. In association with this, pattern B, the transitional type, increased from 3 cases in the Ist test to 7-9 cases in the repeated tests. These results indicate that the 6 hour, 24 hour and 48 hour values approximated each another. These facts suggest that the tuberculin reaction may be accerated by the repitation.
