Changes of plasmin activity by anaphylaxis in guinea pigs were quantitatively determined by various method. As the plasmin materials serum-euglobulin isolated from serum was used. As the test euglobulin spontaneous euglobulin (SP-eug) and Streptokinase-activated euglobulin (SK-eug) were used. Deteminations of plasmin activity of SP-eug and SK-eug were comparatively studied by fibrin-plate method, fibrinogenolytic activity, fibrinolytic activity and caseinolytic activity. The increase of plasmin activity of SP-eug by anaphylaxis was observed in any kind of determination method and especially remarkable change was demonstrated by the methods of fibrinogenolysis and fibrinolysis. However not a remarkable change was observed between the plasmin activity in SK-eug obtained from pre and post anaphylactic shocks of guinea pigs. 2) Anti-plasmin activity of trans type AMCHA (transamin) and EACA (Ipsilon) was determinedby antifibrinolytic and anti-caseinolytic activity in vitro; and it was demonstrated that the former has several times more powerful action than the latter. 3. Protective effects of anti-plasmin drugs against anphylaxis in passively sensitized guinea pigs were tested and the anti-anaphylac action of transamin was also demonstrated in vivo. 4. Anti-plasmin drugs have no inhibiting actions against the isolated intestinal contraction of guinea pigs by histamine, acetylcholine or bradykinin and PCA-reaction in guinea pigs was only slightly ingibited by the pre-treatment of large amounts of anti-plasmin drugs (1 g/kg).
