抄録

Lower limb orthoses is used as a useful aid for the disabled with gait disorder to assist standing and walking activities. The elementary function of such an aid is to support and maintain the lower limb joints at an appropriate position. It, however, bring some restriction in smooth body motion at the same time. In this study, the effect of ankle joint constraints is examined in terms of various ranges of motion of ankle joint of orthoses for the maintenance and recovery of standing posture under the foot floor disturbance simulating vehicle movement.
